General Officer Announcement
The chief of staff, Army announced today the following assignment: Maj. Gen. Dana J.H. Pittard, senior commander, Fort Bliss, Fort Bliss, Texas, to commanding general, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas.
